Shelley and other missionaries provide seminars and workshops to train children’s workers, counselors, and teachers. The 40-hour basic training is followed by those wishing to work in children’s ministry.
Two regional committees were formed in 2003 to promote the ministry to the children of Niger. Shelley is serving on the Niamey regional committee.
For the past two years Shelley has had the oppurtunity to teach the Children's Ministries course to all 1st year students at the Niamey Bible School. Our goal is that all pastors will recognize the importance of children's ministries and will be capable of forming workers and leading a vibrant children's ministry in their churches. |
